Sketch a desert plane

I got stuck with my dissertation topic. Try to search some study cases in the library. Well, my dissertation topic is about waterfront landscape in industrial area. Is anyone know about the similar site in London. I'm picturing my brain as a desert plane. Keep wondering without certainty.

National Potrait Gallery Visit

On 26 Oct, I visited the National Potrait Gallery. There was a shooting stars exhibition that exhibit all the famous people. This sketch shows Elton John in his early age. The eccentric Elton John wearing big specs and feathery jacket.

The second picture is pretty interesting for me. The artist potrait the model half feature with the blowing scarf. It looks as if it hides something, mysterious yet sophisticated. From my point of view, this potrait is very moving, we can see the melancholy smile of the model.

There are still many interesting potrait in the exhibition. I quite like the potraits of Great Britain's government team. The potrait can show the strong personality and willpower.

View of T. Wells

Some pictures of the neighbourhood in Tunbridge Wells. The first picture show the housing area on the sloping ground. On the second picture, we can see the open green space called Calverley Park. The openess and the vegetation arrangements in the park gives a romantic feeling to the surrounding.

Sheeps of Bibery Village

Few weeks ago, I spent my weekend in Cotswold. It has an amazing scenery. Being far from the city is sure a nice thing to do. Sometimes you can get inspiration by just walking and wondering down the village. Look at the sheep, look at how peaceful they are.

Farley Bank Sketch Design

This preliminary sketch design is about conceptual idea of the site. Located in the sloping green area with zig-zag shape gives me the idea of fluidity. Therefore icreated the fluid tunnel which made of orange silk fabric with steel frame structure. The idea is to look through the tunnel. The first tunnel is about the narrative of skylight. The second tunnel is about encloseness, whereas the third tunnel is about surrounding.
